Governance policy documents
Our Governance Policies include documents on subjects such as our Council’s code of ethics and conflicts of interest. You can access and read all of them below.
Please note that as from 1 April 2018 all our work is streamlined under one banner; InternetNZ. NZRS ceases to exist, and its people and services have been integrated into InternetNZ. The Domain Name Commission has been slimmed down to concentrate on its independent role overseeing rules for the NZ Internet and adjudicating disputes. All of us are still acting for a better world through a better Internet.
This document is current as of June 2017, when it was restructured slightly.
.nz ccTLD documents

A new Operating Agreement is being prepared for DNCL. In the meantime here are the current documents (they are consistent with the operating model prior to 1 April 2018 when InternetNZ and NZRS merged).
DNCL Register License (amends DNC-OA)
DNCL Statement of Expectations 2017/18
DNCL Statement of Direction and Goals 2017/18
The strategy guiding the development of .nz is available on request, and the Memorandum of Understanding with the NZ Government about the operation of .nz is available as a PDF.
